With so many people who test positive for coronavirus being asymptomatic and schools being populated at such high density, regular testing that uses a reliable test must be available to both staff and students. This will help to identify quickly anyone who might be spreading the virus on the school site so that they can then be isolated. One might even consider making a weekly COVID test a 'subject' on the timetable in order to make this part of the school routine. The staff could have a PPA (preparation, planning and assessment) period allocated to having a weekly test.
